The title <Saiki> means to stand up again. Today the world is faced with many difficulties. Pandemics, environmental problems, disasters and conflicts are frequently in the news. These bring difficulties to people, regardless of country. As the pandemic calms down, our lives become active again. Some are trying to move forward with hope, some are still suffering. Therefore, we decided on the theme that would give people a sense of hope. Japan has also experienced the tragedies of great earthquakes and other disasters, and wars, but its spirit to recover from them is recognized around the world. The exhibition will show various artists forms of hope and include some JICA’s materials on Japanese recovering history in some spaces there.
